Ning Deng, Ph.D., started his career at Lenovo as a staff researcher on cloud computing and applications development. After two years with Lenovo, he joined Beijing International Studies University (BISU) in 2014 as an assistant professor, and now he is the dean of the department of travel ecommerce and marketing in the school of tourism management. Ning's interests include ecommerce, marketing, and IT technologies in tourism. He is now trying to utilize data mining in tourism research and solve practical problems in destination marketing. Also, Ning is the director of the research center of tourism big data in BISU.
