Kelley McClinchey, Ph.D., is a sessional instructor at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. She has taught courses within the departments of geography and environmental studies, global studies, and political science. Broadly speaking, she is interested in the politics of place, identity, and belonging as they impact the emotional and sensuous geographies of migrant family travel, multi-ethnic festival experiences, and travel media texts. Kelley is particularly interested in the everyday leisure experiences of tourism and the role of ethnicity and diversity in contributing to creative economies and urban sustainability.
