Kai Jiang is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies at University of Waterloo (UWaterloo), Canada. She worked for Canadian Index of Wellbeing (CIW) as a research assistant for two years. Before joining UWaterloo, she graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with the degree of Master of Philosophy in tourism and hospitality management. Kai has accumulated research experience in destination branding, tourist motivation and behavior, and mega sports events management. She has working experience in business consultancy, international hotel groups, and international hotel chains.
