Evan Jordan, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the School of Community Resources and Development at Arizona State University. He received his Ph.D. in Sustainable Tourism and Protected Area Management from Michigan State University. Evan’s research focuses on tourism policy, planning, development, and impacts, and he has a particular interest in the area of psychological impacts of tourism development. His scholarly goal is to examine how tourism affects the quality of life of host community residents and determine best practices for the tourism development process that promote sustainability tourism communities.
