Paul Wilkinson, Ph.D., is a University Professor Emeritus of York University and a Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. He is a geographer who has undertaken research and published in the fields of tourism policy and planning, protected area management, and resource management with work in Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, and Indonesia. His publications include the book, "Tourism Policy and Planning: Case Studies from the Commonwealth Caribbean," and a number of articles and book chapters on cruise tourism in the Caribbean.
